Does chase checking accounts pull your CR?

I was thinking of gettting a checking account with Chase.  Do they pull any kind of Credit Report?

I applied for a checking account about 2 weeks ago, I believe they did a soft pull because they did asking verification questions before they would approve my app.

I am 99% sure they do a soft pull and check chexsystems

If I remember correctly, Chase softs all three bureaus

Did you just get the special offer??

If you deposit $100 or more, they deposit a $200 bonus.  Account must remain open six months or they credit the $200 upon closure.

Tbe one I saw was for a free 125 not 200.  200 sounds a lot better.  I would never use chase for anything besides their free money becuase my CU is a lot better!!

usually they would want to see activity on the account which is established monthly direct deposit and use of their debit card and 6 months later they would credit your account for the bonus.

This bonus is credited ten days after $100 deposit.

For free checking, you have to use the debit card five times a month.

Or you can choose a different checking account including the option to direct deposit.  Or pay fees.

Account has to stay open six months.
