Re: Does my profile look good enough for Lowe's?

I've heard that sometimes mortgage companies do a soft pull again a few days before and sometimes on closing day. I'm not sure which it is, I just know I don't want to chance it.

When I check the credit pulls database, it looks like about 90% of the people that posted had their TU pulled, with a few experians and a couple equifaxs mixed in. I hope they pull Ex, but im planning for them to pull TU.

someone that worked for synch told us that more often they pull EX so i guess it's kind of hit and miss. i am in texas and got EX pulled but i think they still SP TU.

Re: Does my profile look good enough for Lowe's?

I had my house built so my process took a little over a year so yeah I can see a SP being done to make sure the buyer hasn't tanked everything. 2 weeks isn't that long. Hopefully they pull your highest and give you a good limit.

Re: Does my profile look good enough for Lowe's?

OP didn't say the whole process would take two weeks, just that in 2 weeks it'll be done...

Re: Does my profile look good enough for Lowe's?

Yea. Its only 2 weeks away so I'm just going to wait. Plus we aren't moving in until 3 weeks after closing. This is our first house so I really need to stock up there, I need to read up on the backdoor calling tips. Hopefully I get a good limit despite my old collections and low current card limits.

Re: Does my profile look good enough for Lowe's?

you're worrying too much. if approved i doubt you'd see anything below $5k after the call. your initial approval may be like $700-$1,200 but after your CLI i don't see it being below $5k. also, you can shop on lowes.com right after approval

Re: Does my profile look good enough for Lowe's?

I'm gonna just let it go and let whatever happens happen. As long as I don't screw anything up there's nothing I can do to better my credit anytime soon anyway.

Re: Does my profile look good enough for Lowe's?

All of my Synchrony cards were EX for account opening and always TU for SP limit increases. I would say with your score and profile you whould be good for at least $12k.

Re: Does my profile look good enough for Lowe's?

Had not heard before that Sync pulls EX. Thought they were pretty well a TU puller most of the time.

All my Sync accounts have been TU pulls, but all depends on where you live no doubt.
