Does target report authorized users?

Just added my son to help him build credit. I don't have any credit cards with major banks to add him so I thought I'd try target.

Yes, they do. I added my husband to my new account and it showed up on his credit report a month before mines!

My grandmother just added me to her target account as a UA but she advised that they did not ask for my social! do u guys know if it will still rate on my credit? or did they require a SSN when they added any of ur siblings?
