Dont get fooled into paying for credit card protection, offered by many CCC (orchard comes to mind)

By law, once you report the loss or theft, you have no further responsibility for unauthorized charges. In any event, your maximum liability under federal law is $50 per card.

Dont get fooled into paying for credit card protection, offered by many CCC (orchard comes to mind)

The credit card protectiont they are offering is not for a lost or stolen card, it's for if your out of work for illness, or accident or die.
 
I still would not recommend it in any case.

Agree with creditaddict.
 
Also, virtually every issuer I'm aware of offers some sort of credit protection program they try to get you to buy.  Orchard is no different from Amex and Discover in this respect.

And they do not cover all the states   Like NY is not lis...

And they do not cover all the states
 
Like NY is not listed as a covered state but still offer to NY state residents
