My AF on the BCP is about to hit and I have no need for the card anymore beyond the credit line. I am considerating downgrading the card to the non-AF and putting it in the SD. In a month or two I will likely move the line over to my everyday card which is new and close my bce account. Is there anything I should be aware of in doing this? Is there some sort of rule that a card needs to open 13 months before moving a credit line? Do new accounts need to be open for a certain length of time before I can move a credit line to them? My everyday card is only 5k so the total credit line would only amount to 22.1k, which I believe would be ok with Amex. I also have a personal spg card with a low credit line of 2k that I would love to increase because I use that card sometimes, but I may switch to business spg card later this year and didn't want to move credit to a card that I will likely cancel. You can no move personal credit to an amex business card correct?

Must be 13 months, but it seems like you are coming up on that very soon
So if a card was issued in 1/14 I would need to wait until 2/15?
And it's a similar rule for CL transfers, donor card has to be 13 months. Usually the recipient card should be 60 days old, but this is frequently waived.
I would guess it's OK to PC then close and transfer, with the BCE interiting the age of the BCP, but not sure. I kept my BCE open after transferring most of the limit, but not a big deal.
That's what they told me, 13 months for PC or reallocating limits. Mine hits mid February.
