Cant seem to stay in the garden. I just applied and received the following:

recon'd the limit and to my surprise its set at 20K. This will definitely help my UTL and totally worth the INQ hit. Now I can please go back into the garden!!! Smiley Surprised

Applied for Duck on 11/11/2013 and received 7-10 day message.

 

Got EQ score on 11/18/2013 (exactly 7 days after) and received the card on 11/23/2013).

 

1. EQ pulled 680

2. AAoA 1 year 7 month (as per Credit Karma)

3. Util 31%

4. No baddies; Never late

5. Limit: $12K (so far my highest limit, previous one was $6500 on my CITI TY Pref Visa)

 

Rest is on my siggy. Will stay in the garden till 2014 Fall.

Congrats!!! Yeah I'm right there with you regarding the garden. I need to stay in there till 2015 and then app for the Shappire.

Can you try if you like and it wouldnt hurt but in the same breath I wouldnt recommend it. Mainly because they have their metrics/criteria in place which helps them determine credit lines. I doubt an immediate recon toward a higher limit will work. If you still want to try anyway, be sure to have answers regarding blemishes, new recent CL etc. I find when you are johnny on the spot with answers, it gives you a better chance. However I find that mainly works with overturning Credit Card denials. I would wait it out, establish a history and I'm sure the CLIs will start pouring in over time.
