@12njoy: I noticed you stated you had to recon all but 1 of your current accts. If you don't mind my asking, did that include your AMEX accts also? I'm asking b/c I just got turned down for them for a second time since early Sept. a few days ago. I'm currently waiting for the denial letter in the mail. I haven't called to try a recon yet. I apped for the Green card.

For the most part amex cards were recoon due to fraud alert on credit report required them to verify my identity otherwise would have been instant. I did have to recon the blue cash preferred because I already had the blue cash everyday.

My EQ FICO score went up about 10-15 points (66o's - 687) from when I applied on August 6th. My student loans also came back on my report after being transferred (126K). I opened up one new American Express card with a limit of $4,500. Oh and maybe the big item (I guess) was that the chargeoff's all aged over 5 years effective October 1st. A couple of inquires came off. This is all that has changed. I really think it must have been the age of the chargeoff's because when I was denied in August that was all that they cited.
