E-mail from Barclay saying I was being upgraded to World Elite Mastercard?

Hello all!

I've had my Barclay's Arrival card for almost a year, and yesterday I got an e-mail saying I was being upgraded to the world elite version. My credit limit is only $2000 so I didn't think I could qualify for the World Elite. Has anyone else experienced this?

I've had the Rewards card for 18 months and have gotten an automatic CLI every six months.  Hope it continues. Smiley Happy

Re: E-mail from Barclay saying I was being upgraded to World Elite Mastercard?

Hey! I just opened my mail and I also got a "congratulations" notice about this. I was originally approved last July for a $4000 credit limit, but only for Platinum (not world elite) and took a HP to get it to $5500 6 months later. I was thinking about downgrading at the year point but now that I'll be getting world elite benefits I'll gladly pay the annual fee!
