Anybody know how hard it is to get a BoA Accelerated Rewards Amex? I have a BoA Cash Rewards Visa right now, but I was thinking about going for their Amex too once my scores improve next year.
Thank you, Walt. That makes total sense.
Whether or not Blue is easy to get, I'm positive Clear is even easier.

Are you sure of that? That wasn't the case in the past.

No, I just assumed because BCE/BCP have a much better reward system than Clear. I have a Clear and really want a BCE, but I don't want to apply until my util is below 10%.
Never had an Amex til this year. I apped for the Amex SPG and was instantly approved and they also allowed me a small balance trasnferred too. So I am thinking the Amex SPG is probably the easiest to obtain imo and it's my 1st amex on 1st apped. Also received a CLI after 60 days too! I love Amex...haha.

I'm pretty sure you need excellent credit for that particular card. At least 3+ yrs of CC history, 700 FICO.
It seems wise to wait until the charge cards reach their 6 months.

Clear is a no fee card (no late fee, no cash advance fee, no BT fee, etc), as such it is a much harder to get approved for one.

Ah that's true. I didn't think about the no-fee part of Clear. I wish I had waited and apped for BCE instead of Clear. Oh well.
