Re: Easiest Chase card to get?

From what I've read on this forum it seems to be the Freedom. Although I was denied last month with a TU Fico 648.

Re: Easiest Chase card to get?

If you are asking from chase family then freedom is the easiest.

However getting chase is tough than some other cards offered by GE.

Re: Easiest Chase card to get?

I would say the chase amazon visa is probably the easiest, both of my sisters got it without an ounce of credit history, although, whether you define that as a "Chase" card or not is up to you.

The easiest Chase non-store card type card though is probably the freedom. Smiley Very Happy

Re: Easiest Chase card to get?

OK, Chase Freedom seem to be the top pick based on my question. Now I have to hope they pull either EQ or EX. Preferably EQ. I'm in central florida.

Generally speaking Chase only does this in marginal approval cases; even today with computerized reporting, competition between the various CRA's nearly insures that one's report won't be matching across the three.  As a result, lenders and Chase is no exception, will tend to pull a second bureau's data if they don't feel they have enough resolution to approval you, but not enough to unilaterally deny you either.

Re: Easiest Chase card to get?

They pulled TU for my Freedom  app on 08/20. I was denied, not completely unexpected but I was hoping....

I called the backdoor number listed in the stickied thread for recon, still no go. The main reason for the denial is utilization because TU has not reported multiple PIF's i made this month as of the 20th......The person I spoke with was very helpful, asked questions about each item they had an issue with, then put me on hold. Came back and said they could not approve it.

I'll probably wait til next year to reapply...the Discover More, Citi Simplicity, and Lowes store card I got this week have have provided some relief for the app itch....well.....that and the wife seems to think 20 CC's is too many, LOL.....  she just doesn't want to carry all of them around Smiley Happy
