Hi there,
I am trying to get my foot in the door with Citibank. I have a FICO around 650 to 670
Which one do you think would be the easiest for me to get? Thanks for any help!
I know they back the following cards:
Macys
Big O Tires
Tire Kingdom
NTB Tire
Merchants Tire
Home Depot
Shell
Staples
Office Depot
Zales
Littman Jewelers
Sidney Thomas
Sears
Brandsource
Best Buy
Exxon
Goodyear
AT&T Universal Card
Childrens Place
I was approved for their AAdvantage Gold MC 4k last week with 604 EQ fico according to the welcome letter. Go figure! You'd have a great shot here for an approval and a huge CL. Plus 50k miles bonus and first annual fee is waived along with 14 months 0% apr is a pretty good offer. Have you checked their pre qualify page?
Macy's
Shell
Exxon
Best Buy
would be my top 4 easiest.
Does getting a store card really help? I thought that the store card and credit card were separate divisions and it's not (very) different from having any positive store card trade line as far as the Citi credit card group are concerned.
Brandsource is the only card I have been able to get.....all the others get denied for presence of BK back in 2010.
i got a bestbuy mc when my score was like 580 or so. tiny limit, like 300, with AF. after my scores went up a 100 points, and i burned through 3 HP's trying to get a CL, i cancelled it just before my 2nd AF hit.
not sure if it was a fluke that i was approved or not.
also, home depot has a pre-approval site i prob can't post the link, but you can google it
Unless it has changed recently, Macy's isnt back by Citi
