Easiest card to get?

Besides cap 1 and NFCU what are some other lenient cards to obtain with around 640 credit scores?

Equifax - 628, Experian -627, Transunion- 654 In the garden until 01/01/2019

Although a store card, Walmart might be a good option. It grows nicely and gives you a TU score.

Starting Score: EQ 717 EX 724 TU 736
Current Score: EQ 849 EX 835 TU 841

Re: Easiest card to get?

Go for a Walmart Store card.  The free TU08 FICO is worth it plus it grows exponentionally and will get your score up pretty quick.  Also apply for an AMEX green if you have no baddies.  I got a Gold with a FICO of 640.

AmEx PRG (NPSL) | AmEx Costco ($8.2K) | AmEx Delta Gold ($19.3K) | AmEx BCE ($5K) | Chase United Explorer ($10K) | Chase Sapphire Preferred ($7.5K) | Chase Freedom ($8.2K) | Discover it ($3K) | Capital One Quicksilver ($2.5K) | PayPal Extras ($2.5K) | Lowes ($3.3K) | Walmart ($4.3K) | Amazon ($2.5K) | Restoration Hardware ($8.8K) | Crate & Barrel ($8.3K)

Re: Easiest card to get?

A store card would be your best bet IMO. I agree with the others...something that's GE backed b/c it has potential to grow and upgrade if you initially only start out with the store card.
