I have a pre-qualified app from JCP. Have been thinking about sending it in but I really don't buy much there. Would just be getting it to get it. Between Walmart and Target, I goto both stores so I can make use of one of those. Prefer Target but like the score monitoring service offered by Walmart. I was also declined by Target in October so I think I'll be trying for Walmart in a few weeks.

Does anyone recommend how to apply for Walmart for best chances of approval? i.e., at the register, online, customer service.....

I applied for a JCP card. I only have one other card a Capital One. Hopefully they will give me a JCP card. It didnt give me a instant decision. It said they will let me know in 7 - 10 days.

Lithium, when did Target approve you?

Anyone know if I would get approved for any store cards?
I just got a 500 cl BOA secured.
I had a Targert card that I settled with a Collection Agency when I was young and dumb in 2009 or so and its showing on my credit reports that it was closed Nov/11.
My credit karma fako is 641 and myfico said it had no score to give me.
Thanks.

I think you need to wait until you have over 6 months on your BOA secured, before you try. It is very hard without a valid score.
