Im looking into getting another secured card or a secured installment in the next month or so to get things moving.

Figured it wouldn't hurt to try for a store card if I thought I could get approved but if that's not going to happen im not going to even try.

After reading this forum's post I went right to WalMart.com and applied for a store card online. Got instantly approved for $700. Awesome! Thank you!

Allow your computer pop-ups.... then go to Express, Victoria's Secret or Jcrew (any Comenty offered credit site), shop on the website and put items you want in your shopping car and begin to check out and you may have a pop-up offer of credit without a HP.   I just got a Jcrew card without a HP.  I have never applied for a Comenity backed credit card, they are offered during checkout.   Its pretty cool and easy.   GE has not liked me and I cannot get a Walmart card.  But I get all kinds of credit offers from Comenity.

I used to be the SAME way.. then i recently wrote a letter to GE and they actually wrote me back... which lead to me applying for a walmart card yet again and being approved for an 800 CL!

As someone else said - Fingerhut . They seriously suck, but when no one else will approve you, FH will.  My mom got approved and she doesnt even have a credit score yet.

By the way.. i just went to Jcrew and went to checkout to see if the pre-approval would work for me.. and a blue pop up came up that said "Congratulations! you're pre-approved for a J-Crew Credit Card!" which was pretty awesome I didnt apply.. but it was nice to know i was approved ;p

Tried Walmart and shot down (it's a GE thing) anyways being my FAKO EX seems to be looking ok for a FAKO (711) I said what the heck let me try Macy's and what do you know $300 online approved...1 baddie, 1 InQ, 2 new sec cc ($300 and $250 2 months ago)... They only pulled EX, in TX. My first unsecured card lol..hey it's a start and I hear their CLI grows fast. One day GE will be begging me to come to them.
