Re: Eligible for Discover CLI Tomorrow

Just talked to a CSR.  She said that they still can't process it on their end.  It's probably just me jumping the gun.  I'll try in the morning.  I don't need the increase immediately anyway.

I got my Discover More card with 2500 CL on February 2012 and no auto CLI for me. Every time when I wanna ask for CLI they want to do a HP. I just paid $500 on this card and actually I saw a SP on my TU report from Discover on 04/18. :smileyfrustrated:

Good luck to you!!!

I would try 5K. They will counter if they can't approve but they also are very conservative and 2x CLI sounds like a good number.

Re: Eligible for Discover CLI Tomorrow

I'm starting to feel like I'm getting the run around. Nobody knows why I'm not eligible at this point. They gave me every reason they had, but now nobody knows why it won't go through.

the common CSRs usually wouldn't know. Most of the CSRs at most banks are minimum wage or close to minimum wage employees and turnover rate is pretty high.

You will probably need to speak to an underwriter or a credit analyst. They will be able to answer your questions regarding that.
