I get the call yesterday on my way home from work, and mind you, I almost didnt answer, 800 #'s annoy me, but I did. It was a nice woman from the EO. She asked the questions she needed to, and said it would be a SP, and I would hear from her in the beginning of next week.
I logged on now just to verify my payment had been processed, and I see that my limit is now $150.00 more than it was.. I kind of just want to giggle bc its so little, but then again, probably any increase from Cap1 is a good thing?
LOL!
I've only had the card since November SO i'm hoping things will go nicely! ?
Your $150 is better than my nothing! The woman I spoke to from EO wasn't able to tell me the reason why they wouldn't increase it over the phone...says I'll get a letter. I've been stuck at $500 and $750 since 2010....since then I've moved on to bigger and better cards (highest limit 10k w/ Chase).
Admittedly my utilization is a little high due to taking advantage of some 0% offers....anything other than that as a reason for not increasing it even a measly $150 I won't understand. If utilization comes back as the reason why....I'll wait to my reports update and try EO one more time, if still nothing those cards will have a permanent home in the sock drawer!
I agree with you. They seem to be a very odd company! But I am just starting out with the credit things, and I fully expected a big NO for an increase. I hope to move on to bigger and better cards like yours.
Congrats!!!!
Ron.
