DH just received his Freedom and it came with his "Credit Score." The scoring system name is "Application Score," the source is listed as "Chase Bank" with a range from 100-990. His score was 746. DH didn't get the best apr (22.99%) which isn't a surprise since he had to recon to get it. We'll work on getting a lower apr in a year or so after we've let the account age. It's not a big deal since we don't plan on carrying a balance and it came with the 0% apr for 15 months. I wish I knew what his fico score is! I wish myFico has a two-for-one type of special. Lol.
Edit: So I couldn't stand not knowing DH's real fico score so I went ahead and signed him up for SW - his EQ fico is 682. Shows you how off the fako scores can be. But I wonder if this means that Chase won't be using fico scores in the future.
They used an internal scoring sysyem, not fico
I can't wait for FICO to start selling Experian FICO scores again.
