FICO 633 to 728 in 11 months, SLOW **UPDATED**

[ Edited ]

This is from GE Walmart TU08.

Slow process, maybe I am missing something?

From 80% utils (across all cards) to 11% (reporting on one card) when it was updated. Now I am at 7%.

No baddies, just LOTS of INQ from getting 3 cars in less than 2 years. Also 4 new accounts, latest one being 10/12 Amex Green.

I don't think that is slow progress... almost 100 points in under a year.  The fact that you paid off that much debt deserves a pat on the back!

Yes, I am extremely happy. Those debt are from college years, thank god that I was never late on any payment.

Now, I just PIF and rotating the love on all card....however, amex is getting the love monthly about 1k a month to establish relationship.

Maybe I should put everything on amex and less love on other card? lol. It would be 3k a month.

That's not slow, it's called rebuilding.

And it's awesome!

Slow is a relative term. I'd be breaking my arm to pat myself on the back if I was able to say I went from undesirable credit risk to desirable in 12 months.

Seriously you've done a great job that I know personally isn't that easy.  With no negatives and just some inquiries all you should need is another year or so of gardening and you might be pushing 800!  Onward and upwards!

nearly a 100 points in a year is not slow, its damm good, I would be truely amazed if you can get another 100 points in a year, it will probablty take closer to 2-3 years for the next 100. Slow and steady wins the race.
