Congratulations LS2982! Glad to hear your getting some luv from GE. I was just approved for a Walmart store credit card last month and a Sams Club Discover Card with a much higher limt beginning of March. As Walmart gave me a lower credit limit in your opinion should I pay this off each month in full or carry a small balance? How long have you had your Walmart card before you received a credit limit increase? Thank you for replying with any suggestions. Hoping to get some luv from GECRB in a few months. Have a terrific day!

I'd charge it heavily and PIF every month. GE loves usage.

Thanks for the tip LS, I'm gonna buy the new IPAD on the 16th and pay in full over (2) two months. Hopefully, this will show great usage on Walmart Store Card.

It sounds as if GE has changed their CLI request procedure. In the past, I just clicked on the "luv" button on the computer screen, input my income and it came back with the increase; I've never had to ask for a specific amount. Is this new? And, how are you folks deciding how much of an increase to request?

Be patient, they declined me constantly and finally after I decreased my util. bigtime they approved them!

called in, got my Paypal MC bumped to 2K from 1K over the weekend. been open since a few days after feb 10th when i applied, so not quite 120 days or 4 months.  last used it near the end of may for a metro pass(40 bucks), before that not since late feb/early march for some computer stuff(a little over 300, paid of before 1st statement)
