This might partially explain why I stopped getting the pop-up pre-approvals on the FRN site about 6 or 8 months ago. I was expecting my Coldwater Creek Mastercard to die out when they filed Chap. 11 3 years ago--but so far the card and the company are still around....and they even sent me a new renewed chipped card a few months back.
BUSINESS 
Comenty doesn't really partner with A-list type business, which in the credit card world are probably the hotels & airlines. They do have the Virgin America card which is nice, but that will probalby be going away soon because they got bought. Comenity tends to partner with retailers and such and the retail business has been under a lot of pressure lately. Even the biggest and best have been closing stores and going into bankruptcy.
I hope the AKC and Sportsman's Guide to not go away.
