Fell out of the Garden with a BofA HP

well, on the 19th of this month it would have been 3 months with no HP or apps but decided to remodel my rental property home and total costs were going to be around 12,500. Didnt want to apply for special financing with Lowes with the home project card bacause i told myself no new accounts for the remainder of the year. Well, Bofa has been sending me 0% financing through December 2014 on my Cash Rewards platinum plus card so i requested a CLI to 18K. Called BofA analyst and told her why i needed to increase (previously at 12000). After asking me the usual questions and needed my consent to review CR, she came back and approved my request. Well, HP on TU of course but only had 5 in the last 2 years. I took the opportunity to request and upgrade to Visa signature (since they report limits now) and told me i would be receiving the new card in 2-4 weeks with a new APR of 12.99 (previously at 20.24). Not too bad for one HP on TU! to the garden again.

Good use of a HP IMO

Congrats

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?
