Capital One is fine as a credit card company, but you can't expect to launch into a Venture after two months. Show those two cards lots of usage and payment, and 6 months to a year later, there may be a Venture.
Also, how old are you? The Student card says younger?
IMO you are seeking credit way to agreesively.. I know you have a good score and all, but your oldest account is still very young and from your other posts this year with just Amex along you applied for 3 cards within a month of each other? Not sure what else you have added this year.. Being you very new to credit and adding a ton of new accounts is a huge red flag for a person to get into trouble. Just mellow for 6 months or a year then go hog wild for another few cards and you will be alot more pleased with your results.
Im 35, not a student) Yeah, I promised my self to not to apply for anything else until about June of next year, hopefully my score will settle middle 700s..I was just cirious as to why people with much lower scores get pre approved and I dont. In 8 months I scored about $40k in unsecured credit (think just jumped over my head) and right now is solely focused on letting my cards mature..Cant wait for times when I start getting bombarded with pre approvals)
