It has to be redeemed and deposited into CMA in order to get 2%.. So after you get the 2% into your CMA, what do you do?
do you transfer to you regular bank or use bill pay to pay the card itself? i never tried to transfer to my regular checking account. Do they charge you to do that? or does your bank charge you to receive money from CMA?

Fidelity doesn't charge you. And many banks don't charge for ACH transfers in (I thought this type of thing was universal but I just opened a bank account that DOES charge for transfers out) So it will almost certainly be free, but check with your bank that you transfer to.

Why not just withdrawal via an ATM? Fidelity reimburses ATM fees.

FIll out the form and send it in to get the free box of checks that is offered with CMA. After you have that simply write yourself a check for the amount that you have in your cash management account. Then deposit that check using your smartphone or at your bank where you would like the money to be placed. That seems to be the easiest way I have thought of to get the cash out!

Doing an external transfer is pretty easy too!

I never thought of that though.. it's another way.. but I try to avoid unnecessary complication i guess.. i am kinda afraid that maybe one day they couldn't recognize the amount was from the ATM fee if the fee was just about $10 (when i withdraw a great amount).. or some situation like that..
also i would like to "put money" in CMA occasionally too.. just to be able to withdraw money if i need sometimes..

I can get free checks from Cash Management Account? Really? How do i do that?? I do need checks sometimes.. ordering them from BOA is not quite cheap..
I agree the easiest way is transfer out of CMA into your regular bank account. There is a box at the top right that says "Transfer" then there are pull downs so you can select from the CMA and into your bank account. It'll be in your bank in 2-3 days

Sign into your account and add it to your CMA. You have to print off a pdf file and send it in to them and they will mail back the checks in 7-10 days. Enjoy the free checks!
