Have you tried the web site,  who gave me credit , to see what other people were approved for barclay cards and with what scores at least you will have an idea, and it also shows what states?

Re: Finally Ready to App, Suggestions?

Sadness... I guess I got the motivation to fix my Equifax today.  2% utility reporting and an Equifax FICO of 682.  Compare that to my Transunion Fico of 727 with 48% utility. All over a inaccurate medical bill from almost 6 years ago.  I am afraid to even try for Discover More or Bill Me Later

Bill Me Later is probably out of the question, in december I got a Tiger Direct via Bill Me Latercard 4k CL, used it to $2000, paid off in 6 months, Should of did all my shopping at once would of gotten 18 months no interest, but instead got 6 months and 12 month no interest but they always applied payments to both specials so it was imposible to pay off the 6 month no interest first. 9 months later the account is zero balance, I applied for a Paypal BillMeLater account denied, my score dropped to 685 because of INQ's and UTL is up to 22% and AAoA is down about 4 months So even a good current customer has very little impact on approvals and 680's is too low for them.
