I finally got an offer to upgrade from the Plat to the Quicksilver with no AF. I have had my Plat for approx 4 months with a SL of $3000. Will upgrading affect my credit steps increase or have any other adverse affects? They also list the Venture under "Other Options." Does this mean anything?
Okay now I see that I have a choice between the two cards. Which is better? I would like travel points toward future travel but I also do not have a cash back card currently but I do have an AMEX delta gold. I need help deciding what to do.

I think the loss of the AF makes it worth it alone. It may mess with your credit steps increase but, not paying an AF is better All CLI requests are SP so there is no harm in passing up a CLI in order to rid the AF. Worst case you wait 6 months and hit the luv button. Good luck!

Since I currently have the Plat, I don't have a AF fee so that doesn't necessarily matter. I'm trying to decided which card is better the QS2 or the Venture. Thoughts?
Which card fits your spending and needs best? We can't answer that unfortunately.
edit: I have both

I knew someone would say they couldn't answer which is best for me! LOL Well at least tell me which one you find more benefical and gives you the most bang. As I said in an earlier comment, I already have the AMEX Delta.
If you don't have a cash back card, 1.5% isn't too bad for the Quicksilver.
Thank you!

Maybe PC to Quicksilver, then once your six month app clock is over with Cap1 cold app for the Venture and take advantage of the sign up bonus
You're smart! LOL Thanks for that piece of advice. You have helped me make my decision!
By the way, have you tried to request a CLI now? Might get you a small bump
