I love these forums but anywhoo just applied for a citi credit card and received instant approval with credit limit of 3900. Surprised heck out of me. Tried Chase and they said they have to review it so I will call in morning and I tried capitol one who flat out denied me. Currently I have a 300 First Premier which I will be closing as soon as I get the new card, 600 Orchard Bank, and a 500 Capitol One so don't know why they denied me. Ohh I did also just get a car loan for 28000 this week and a mortgage in April so I am going to cool my jets for a while. I just wanted a card that I didn't have to pay a fee per month just to have or an annual fee. I have come a long way from last July when all my scores were in 500s. So just wanted to say thanks you guys for all your help and information.

The Platinum Select Mastercard. I meant to apply for the Citi Forward but did the wrong app. I just wanted one that wasn't the usual one everyone qualifies for. I dont use credit cards but I want to continue to build my credit. When did u apply?
