Thanks involver... i have 4 new account in 2013 may. and couple of CLIs in the same month. From then no new account. As off now iam just above 100k income. only 2 cards reporting. your mssg is giving me confidence ... do you have penfed? thanks.

I do have accounts with PenFed, yes.  I was approved earlier this year for both a CC and LOC and I had several new accounts reporting in the previous six months.  Often times PenFed is very picky with "pyramiding debt" (opening large exposure in unsecured credit in recent months), so I consider myself lucky to have gotten the approvals I did.  My income is also much less than yours.  Since PenFed is pretty hard to pinpoint as far as their approvals, I don't want to say you'd be gauranteed, but your profile seems pretty ideal.  Good luck if you do apply

I was one of those wacky approvals that ended up being turned down.  I was approved by the computer for 50k with only an income of 36k (makes no sense).  However I was expecting it to just be adjusted to something more appropriate after a loan officer looked at it.  I ended up getting denied for pyramiding debt.  720s eq score, 2 years AAoA but 7 new new accounts in the last year which is what I think did me in being that I still have open student loans as well.

Well you must have four inquiries at least in the last 2 years, from those approvals last year. Great cards already though, and great score! Nice to hear 800 is possible with a 6 year history and 3 year AAoA. I'd say go ahead and apply for whatever you want; if the limits aren't what you want recon.

Not only 4 inquiries.... but i got 5 more for credit limits.. total almost 9 in last may, june , 2013 on equifax file. From june 18th 2013 to this day none. thanks.

i just completed one year. no inquiries since june 18 2013 on equifax, experian and transunion. Except one for capital one checking account opening. iam thinking to wait one or 2 months. thanks.

Congrats on your approvals and awesome scores! Penfed is odd.I was shockingly approved for $50,000 with a score of only about 715. AAOA of about 3 years with 3 of my newest accounts only 10 months and income only slightly higher than the CL. I will never understand but I'm sure not complaining!

Thanks Pashanla I was approve penfed 18000 and no paystubs were asked. Today i got.... Penfed 18000 chase sapphire pre 21000 citi thank you limit from 5000 to 17000 dcu from 10,000 to 15000 thanks for all the support.
