Fingerhut any Good?

In terms of price and building credit is it any good? Or is it no different than going to Aarons or Rent a Center?

I've noticed there's a modern day 'fingerhut', called Montgomery Ward ...Does anyone have experience with this company?  http://www.wards.com/

Re: Fingerhut any Good?

Fingerhut only reports to 2 CRA's EQ and TU. It does not report to EX. They are a bit overpriced. IMO I would go with something GE offers store card wise if you can get approved.

Re: Fingerhut any Good?

If you can't get anything else, they're fine. I bought my shark vacuum from there, ended up paying $220 after all payments made (it's $180 in the store), BUT I did get some additional attachments for the vacuum thru fingerhut that I couldn't have gotten in the store..so I guess it really depends on the stuff that you're needing/wanting.
