Re: Fingerhut

I am trying to decide whether to apply for a Fingerhut card or not. I have 2 tradelines on my report now which are active and one from a closed CC account which will fall off in 3 years. I am very eager to have new tradelines but am not sure if Fingerhut is going to maybe give me buyers remorse or really be worth it. It doesn't report to EX in my understanding. Beyond that I don't really see the downside to adding this account to my credit reports. Any insight? Thanks...

IMO, Fingerhut is not worth it in regards to building credit. Besides, the merchandise is insultingly overpriced. I think you will regret doing it. Plus, I am not sure if they even report to all 3 CB, or how often, etc.
