Finishing up my portfolio

My EX went to 710 this AM.

Called Amex for a CLI asked them to fresh soft pull (they didn't) she gave me the 7 to 10 day.

I was kinda upset so I pulled up the application at my credit union and asked for a 10K Visa- APPROVED
That made me feel better.

Called and wrote HSBC - closed both accounts.

Seems I also put in an app for AMEX green as well-still pending.

So that WAS 230 points in 1 year- I am sure the 2 hards put me back down bellow 700.

This now makes AMEX my LOWEST CL and HIGHEST APR.

Amex is my lowest CL and nearly highest APR (when it kicks in).  But EX hates me
The slide from grace is really more like gliding
And I've found the trick is not to stop the sliding
But to find a graceful way of staying slid

Very nice Timothy. I think you hold the record in the forums for the most points gained in the shortest time span...amazing! As for AMEX, I would think they would give you something. How much did you ask for? Now you are 100% prime baby! HUZZAH!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Finishing up my portfolio

Yep-

Still easier than the 4 payments a month I have to pay them now-

Plus the $30 for an additional card- and it reduces the AF on my Delta.

Re: Finishing up my portfolio

Nope- Not for another year.
I still have 2 60's under 2 years old.

You have two 60's under two years and still have a 710. My word! If your util is good, I would have to think getting these removed would give you 30 points or more.

Re: Finishing up my portfolio

On EX these are the last 2 of the 4 lates left.

Think I started with 32 !!!!!!!!

I got Capone to remove the 30's but not the 60's.

You made it--congrats!!! You're definitely the lead dog in the 2007 myFICO forums sled dog race. Smiley Wink

Hope AmEx figures out that they've got a quality cardholder in you.
