Just reached my 6th month with them and the cli button appeared. My limit went from $1200 to $2200. Do they give one every six months? What is the highest cl they have given?

I got my Firestone through Credit First June 2010 to get tires for my truck, paid them off within 6 months (0% term), was approved for 1400 CL. I recently logged on to the site to change my address and saw that they had jumped my CL to 2800. I am not sure when it happened, but when my new truck needs tires I hope Firestone has what I want, those 4 20" tires are going to cost some coin.

Once the CLI button is there you can ask for a CLI every month if you want to. Always soft pulls. I started at $1000 in 2009. It's now at $2800. Was given a $200-$300 every time, couple of times I hit it twice int he same month and was given a CLI. Since I hit the $2800 I haven't received one increase though. I wonder if $2800 is a limit or something???
Just beware, if you hit the CLI they can also reduce your cl if they see something on your reports they don't like. So if reports are only gettting better then request away.

Bummer! I bet if you let those new accounts age some and then hit the button with Firestone you'll get your $200 back plus more.

They sure don't. And their approval/denial has always been instant as well. Fortunately, I've never had a CLD but I do think about every time I hit the button. Last 6 months I've had no usage on it (new car came with some free service appointments). I'm hoping that once I start using it again maybe they'll start increasing it again it too.
I'm sure yours will come back up.
