Seems like Chase is in a generous mood.

im about to call them and ask if they can do better than a lame 500cl :/...but then my freedom is almost 4 weeks old..

Check afbar14's posts / history or maybe he'll see this post and respond in here.  He semi-recently got a Freedom (way under a year, thinking like six months or so ago) at a $500 limit and got kicked up to $1500 though not sure if it was auto-CLI or customer-initiated.  At any rate I'd look at his timelines and use that as a guideline in your case.
