Could very well be!

Boy, I'm going to be in trouble if all my banks and CU's start demanding that I carry balances and pay interest. Smiley Sad Ain't gonna happen.

Re: First Equity Closed my Card

I read lot of bad things about FirstEquity. I am glad parted with them in good terms and good standing. Their card is targetted for low credit scores and high risk people so they can charge lot of interest.

Sorry about your lost tradeline. It always hurts when one of your accounts gets closed.

However, First Equity is notorious for rate jacking; CLDs; and account closures. If I have learned anything in my credit repair journey, it is that you have to walk away when the devil is offering you credit when no one else will.

I know sometimes you have to get a TL from a questionable lender, but use that TL to get other credit lines from better lenders. Then dump the questionable TLs.

Consider it a blessing in disguise. GL Smiley Wink
