I received a "You're pre-qualified" notice in the mail.  Their the best card available for your business. Aside from the fact that I don't need business credit, where does this bank rank?

Re: First Equity Platinum Business Card

I have this card. I was approved for it last Oct/Nov when my scores were in low 600's when I was declined by all majors Capone, Advanta, Citi, Chase. I was approved with CL of $3000 and after 3 months got CLI to $7K. I am going to ask them for another CLI to $10k in the next couple of months. I charged around $1800 every month and did PIF.  So far I have no complains with them. Their online management is not very good but it is ok for me considering when I was rejected by every single major cc and these guys approved me. If you need a card it is not a bad card.

I rec'd that offer, too.  Aside from the fact that I don't have a real business, it just looked cheap. (Lol.)

What bothers me is that I have to claim business income when I file my taxes for two 1099-misc forms I receive for things that are school related, but not paid via the district (stipend for DC trip and volleyball score keeper).  Did I get this offer based on how I filed my taxes?

Odd.

From 700 in 2008 to 498 in 2012...
4/23/12 -- BK 13 date of filing EQ = 505
4/18/12 -- EQ 498
12/5/13 -- EQ 669
Here we go.... back on track.

Re: First Equity Platinum Business Card

It is very common for these companies sending them out these app's randomly. I get so many from chase and advanta also. Some on my personal name some on my business name.

Odd.

I agree.  It does look cheap. I did claim a business related expense this year but it was standard. Very odd in deed.
