It depends on a few factors. How many inq's are within the last 12 months, how many new accounts in the last 12 months, etc... When I was approved for mine, and I have the graphite amex, not the one listed on their site, I received a $4k starting line. The approval was instant. See below for details from approval:
Experian Pulled - 745 score
Inq's - 7 in the last 12 months
New Accounts - 5 in the last 12 months
11% utl at the time it was pulled
Mine offer is 0% to Oct. Then 19% apr.
This sound like marketing or a pre-approval?

Which version of the card does the letter state? There are 2 versions.
Experian 661 score
Inq's - 0 n the last 18 months
New Accounts - 4 in the last 12 months
util 1%
3 old med ca's
1 over 2yr ca
approved or denied
Just shows a blue Amex. Don't know
Its hard to say just from that detail. If I had to guess........ I am going to lean more to geting approved.

Look at my signature and see the card there. The card listed on their website is a lighter grey color card and then the one I have which is more like a charcoal colored card. The one I have, when I got the pre-approved letter, was with the apr being at 3.something%. I can't remember off the top of my head exactly what the apr was, but it was around 3.8% or so.
Experian is one of my worst reports, I don't understand My Eq is cleaner then ex but my score is higher...Ex is my nemesis.
Sounds like you had a much better offer than mine...

I took a look at the one of their site and am going to assume that the letter you received is in regards to that one. Based on the details you gave and teh apr they offered, it seems to be a good offer, well I guess that depends on what you consider good. The apr they stated is closer to their bottom apr on that card then it is to the top. I would say that if it is a card that you feel fits your needs, then go ahead and apply.
