The offer that I got is for a completely different card than the one you got. The one I received is not listed on their website.

Is thier Amex bad like credit one?
didn't really have time to read the letter all I know is there is a $19 yearly fee
Read the disclosures.
Note that FNBO can be quite conservative and no one here can guarantee or predic the SL you'll receive - if approved. Most FNBO pre-approval offers are fairly solid provided nothing (or much) has changed on your CRs since they made the offer. Otherwise, it may not yield an approval or an approval with different terms than the offer had provided.
@galahad15 wrote:One good thing about FNBO is that if you have credit cards with them, they have the option
every 6 monthsof SP CLIs. I have 3 of their cards, including the FNBO Amex, and am quite happy, with them
SP every 3-4 months
My FNBO experience
Did a lot of research before applying in 2013
What I found was:
Pre-approvals are solid offers of credit if a set APR is listed
I've only seen one case of a pre-appoval not being approved and that person had been on an app spree after receiving the offer
As long as your profile hasn't changed since they SP your CR's you stand a 98% approval IMHO
The Amex version has different rewards
2/2% Gas groceries which I have
1/1% everything
1 with an AF
BT checks vary about every 3 months
0% for XXXXX months or Write yourself a check for vacation etc etc
Also get a lot of BT for life checks APR 4.99%
If you are not within their footprint for some this is the only way in...which was my case
They give SP CLI's every 3-4 months via phone call
The card can grow very very fast. Mine always jumped $3,500 each call
It grew so fast and large I haven't even asked for a CLI in 1 1/2 years
That's my take on FNBO

I received the pre-approval and I declined the offer.
I do really want a Amex in my wallet! Even knowing that it's not the actual. Amex, you know what I mean!
If anything my report has been better every day...for the past six months. I know it hasn't gotten worse since they check me out.

It's just on Amex network
Want a Amex go get a real one
Don't settle if that's truly what you want IMHO

I agree with myjourney on this. While this card has the amex logo, it is just on their network and not a true amex card. If you want an amex, get one. Don't just apply for this card because of the amex network.
