Skipped the going for the secured card route and the First Premier. Decided I would just try an easy unsecured. Pulled the trigger and got a Walmart card. I know it's not much but it is my first revolving acct. in years. Got just about everything cleared up a little while back. I figured my scores wouldn't be going anywhere without something.

With your scores, you should probably app for the AMEX Zync now.
The Zync's demographic is for people with thin files and not too many baddies on their report. AMEX is a lot more forgiving with approvals for the Zync than the rest of their cards.
Usually if you can be approved for the Walmart card you can be approved for the Zync.

Congrats!! It's a great feeling huh? I myself was just approved with my local credit union and I haven't had a card in almost 10 years.
I agree, you gotta start somewhere!!
