First Tech & Addison Avenue Merger

Just checked their websites and both Addison and First Tech are still offering their own

versions of  their original credit cards.

Which one is better? Is Addison Avenue more generous with initial CL's

Anyone know what may happen after the merger is complete in the summer of 2011.

Should I apply now or wait until after the merger?

eta:  Everyone on the board advises to have 2-3 cards so if I join one of these credit unions,

          can I just deposit a fair amount of dollars in a share account  and not have to worry about

      exercising the card periodically?

They will become the First Tech Federal Credit Union.   The new web site says it will preview the combined accounts and services in Spring 2011. Everything will be merged by Summer 2011.   No matter wich CU you pick now,  you will end up with the same products and services. 

I think it is better to wait until the summer when they are merged to join and apply. 

I doubt they would cancel a card for non use.

I'm going to keep an eye open for any news on the boards to find out if joining the new merged CU

would work for me.

I am considering joining also, but I want to see the final mix first.
