I thought Ring is 8% variable? The ring is variable.
The current prime rate is 3.25%, so the ring is the prime rate +4.75%
Plus no balance transfer fee.
And a 1$ cash advance fee. Fantastic for emergencies. Though I carry around my walmart card in case I ever need cash. There's walmarts everywhere
Welll $1 plus the 8% correct if you were to carry a balance on the cash advance?
Yes. But 8% is pretty low and in an emergency I'd say its a far better option than a ridiculous BT fee ontop of a ridiculous APR.
Gee. I want a Ring now.
Ya honestly I didn't know it has 1$ cash advance fee and 8% fixed... That is pretty damn nice if ever needed...Those are some nice benefits.
Everyone should have a Ring in their portfolio. By this time next year I plan to have it be my only Barclays card and with a fat 5 digit limit. Nice solid card to have with great features.

Does fidelity Amex counts fixed rate card? For everyone it's 13.99%?
No, it's not fixed - it is a variable rate (check your T&C). My APR is 8.9% (variable) due to BofA/FIA/Merrill relationship. The days of fixed rates for most CC products have gone out the window since the Credit Card Act reform from 2009. Most CCs are under variable APRs.

What fixed rate cards do you have?
I also have a fixed rate BoA card at 9.99%, have had since 2007. It is the last remaining, open fixed-rate card I have... *wistful sigh, missing the days of when fixed-rate cards were more prevalent*
Look to CUs for fixed rate cards, at a bank you can pretty much forget it.
