So today I went to Starbucks, brought a coffee, and used my Zync to pay for it. The guy from the cashier took my Amex and just looked at it before he swipt. After he swipt it, he looked at it again, and told me, "Nice card". I was laughing my as% off inside. I just told him "Yea. Thanks" and left. I felt really good puting my Zync back into my wallet...LOL!
Anyone else got any reactions from people with their Zync? I think people are so used to the Green/Gold that having a white AMEX charged card just makes many people wonder....![]()

One could say (with a grain of truth now) that the Zync card is more exclusive than the Centurion card! We just don't have to define "exclusive" now, do we? ![]()

Someone I know who has a Platinum card saw my Zync and asked how I got a better card than them... I just laughed... lol. Funny how people react when they think they have the "best" and realize, well think they realize, they don't. ![]()
In my opinion, the Zync does look "premium" compared to the other charge cards. The color stands out.

I got 1 reaction with my Zync from a friend when we were at starbucks and i offerred to pay - "whoa, did they change the black amex to white!?!?!?". He was serious ![]()
I realized right then that I should ask my buddy to borrow some $$, since he obviously thinks I'm wealthy enough to have a Centurian. Something like (cue exotic accent) "I've seemed to have forgotten my ATM card at home, and Jeeves, my buttler, is not responding to my calls. Would you please advance me $500 to get me through the day?". But I didn't.
On a side note, i carry it right beside my Platinum card. I generally use the plat for day to day purchases, and the Zync I use for certain packs. The platinum is pretty saturated where i live in "The OC" so nobody really cares about it and never even got so much as a flirtatious glance from a cute barrista ![]()
Either that, or could be that wedding ring that I tend to wear.

Must be exclusive since they just denied me. Oh well, that was my last time to apply for AMEX of any kind. My Visa/MC and Discover work just as well.
