I could see using the card for maintenance.   BMW and Mercedes also offer a credit card, as well as Firestone.

they way they advertize in the comercials you can use ford credit to buy the car! A co worker of mine did this a couple of times in the last few years he would go to the dealer and trade his car in for a new one and get the new one with ford credit.
