I decided to dispute the Barclays account that was used to open , close and transfer to the Ameriprise card I applied for . I had no idea that two accounts would be opened to have one active. i didn't realize how active Barclays was in approving and maintaining Ameriprise accounts. My hope its that they don't close the Ameriprise account (the open one) becuase I disputed what is essentially an orphan Barclalys accout which was opened, closed, and transferred to Amerpirise all in the same day. I DO NOT like that two accounts were opened for one. It affects AAoA and affects my credit score. We'll see what happens with my dispute, and I'll keep everyone posted.
