FoundersCard The New Black Card?

I was invited to join, don't see a lot of info about it but it looks like the hot new card for entrepreneurs. Carries a $495 AF tho... Think this needs more research before I even consider this...

I just visited their website and asked for more info which will be sent via email.

UPDATE: Meh...I don't think AmEx Platinum has anything to worry about. For me anyway, the AF kills it, especially since it is not even a charge/credit card. I suppose if it fits your spending pattern it might be worth it, but not for me.

Re: FoundersCard The New Black Card?

I have FC. It's... Okay. The AF is $295 if you get a referral.

IMHO, only useful if you have AT&T (15% off), or use UPS to ship. You do get  CX gold and VS silver, which are reasonable.

Re: FoundersCard The New Black Card?

Called in and applied. They took my CC info incase I was approved. Got an email today saying I was, I know its not a credit card. But the perks alone may make me downgrade my platinum to a gold as the AF seems to go a lot farter with this card than it does on amex, especally witht he 2014 perk reductions on the platinum.

Re: FoundersCard The New Black Card?

BTW, Founderscard is not a credit card. It is strictly a perks only card. VIP access, Discounts etc.... the annual fee next year is going up to 595 also so keep that in mind when applying
CHASE FREEDOM | AMEX BCE | | BOFA REWARDS | CITI TYP | Quicksilver | DISCOVER IT | Sallie Mae | CHASE CSP
--------$32,000-------------$30,000-----------$30,000-----------$30,000-----$13,000---------$18,200----------$15,000---------$6,500----
