Freedom Visa Siggy upgrade?

I currently have a Freedom Visa with a $5k limit, and a $4400 bal due to a bt offer.

Is it even worth me calling to ask that I be upgraded to a Siggy? It's the only almost maxxed out card I have. I reallllly want a Signature card and was told 6 months after having the account, it would be eligible. As a balance carrier on this account, would a Siggy upgrade even be beneficial? Are Signature accounts usually for those that pif?

Thanks!:-)

Re: Freedom Visa Siggy upgrade?

A lot of people have said that they had to wait twelve months before being upgraded to a Visa Signature. Visa Signature cards are for all types of people. Visa Signature benefits are not really that great. It lets you go over the credit limit and you get a worthless conceirge. There are some other things on their website that I have not found to be beneficial to me at all. If you really want one, there is no harm in asking.

Re: Freedom Visa Siggy upgrade?

It's definitly hit or miss with Chase, my father has a freedom that has been opened since 2001 with a 18.8K limit which i'm an AU on, I called to ask to upgrade to a signature and they said there were no offers available... Smiley Sad
