Freedom card number stolen.....

So i was in florida last week and i get home and check my credit cards. well to my surprise my card was used 1200 miles away from where i was...i had the card in my wallet...so somehwere my number was stolen and then put on to another card and used....but chase is sending me a new card now.


In my wallet: AMEX Gold; Freedom $1.5k; CSP $5k; Chase United $5k; Discover $2k

no they maxed it out some how and put me over the limit...chase didnt think anything of it because it was near my house

This is exactly why I only pay cash at places where the card leaves my sight, ie bars and restaurants.

Wow! You should check your other cards just to make sure the thief didn't use another one.

My USAA card got jacked while in Orlando. They overnighted a new one.
