Freedom chip

I just received a new Freedom chipped card,  a replacement for my current card in the mail today.  I did not request it.  Are they replacing everyones'  card?

Thanks,  after 3 months they must have made it to SoCal where I am.

Got mine in So Cal about 3-6 mo ago. It used to be the one card I had auto pays attached to and be the one I had the number memorized. I was sad. Now thanks to this board, I'm getting 2+% on all that stuff I was getting 1% on and the only play its getting right now is restaurants.
