Congrats on the cards. May I ask, how long have you held the Freedom?

I have had my Freedom for 7 months...I have been banking with Chase since 2005, so that may or may not have made a difference...

Thanks, I'm considering a Sapphire application soon. I was approved for $2500 on my Freedom in February, but in the meantime a 2 year backdated Blue with a $6,000 limit has appeared, so I'm trying to gauge how long I should wait before trying the Sapphire.

It may or may not be too soon, but Chase is excellent with recons, so your YMMV...

It think it is too soon right now, I'm planning an application around August, which would give me 6 months on the Freedom and get me to 3 years of credit history.
