drcc2013:  I wrote this on post/message 9.

highfrogs:  I didn't do anything special.  Just sign up and enter you information.  Name, Addres and phone number.  Once entered, the pop up should appear on the next screen if you're pre-approved.

Cliffs on how this trick works?

Basically, you select some items and add to cart.  You then select the checkout button.  On all three, I selected "guest" vs creating an account.  Once you enter all your personal info, like address, email and phone number, click "continue or checkout" at that point you will receive a pop up.  From what I've read, it will be a SP if you're approved.

IIRC, the only exception has been so far for Total Rewards, even though it will be approved, it still ends up being HP.

Just a reminder.   You are killing your AAoA for tiny amounts of credit.   SP rather than HP is good, but only if the card is worth getting (or if you get a useful CL)

Re: Fun w/ Shopping Cart Trick

I was approved for victorias secret $750. Didn't accept since I'm a guy with no need for a vs card.
