GE CLI FINALLY!!!

I got my GE CarCare1 card back in March because I needed new tires and a few other repairs on my car. I was approved online instantly, but they gave me a low limit of $600 which wouldn't even cover my tires. Every month since then I have called to request a CLI and have always been denied. My last attempt was early July and once again DENIED. Log into my accout today to make a payment and my CL went from $600 to $1,600. Definitely a great auto CLI!

Re: GE CLI FINALLY!!!

Congrats!  I just found out this works at summit racing.  I wish there was a solid list of places that take this.  The website Go GE capital web site  does not list summit racing.

Re: GE CLI FINALLY!!!

The website doesn't list a lot of places. I say CarCare1 but its actually a Kaufman Tire branded card but here's the thing. Any merchant that accepts CarCare1 will take it including America's Service Station, Pep Boys, etc. All the different "store" cards listed on the GE website work at all the other stores and you still get the same no interest financing options!! It actually turned out to be a pretty good card to have on hand.

Re: GE CLI FINALLY!!!

Thanks everyone. I was pretty irritated that I was approved with such a low limit in the first place so this definitely makes up for it. Looks like GE likes usage. This card has never not had a balance on it. I paid my first 6 month no interest promotion off in 3 months and then the day after I made the final payment my radiator blew and there went another $600 on that card.
