i requested for Lowes CLI (completed 4 statements) using online luv request but denied. the letter says
"at this time, we are unable to approve your request due to insufficient experience at your current credit limit"
my original CL is 3500 and only used it once last month for $50 and PIF before it showed up as balance. looks like they didn't like it much. at least, this is a SP..
exact opposite happend to AmEx - i used it heavily (Delta SkyMiles).. but didn't PIF on time before statement closing date (util % is less than 35% and now <5%) but they look at your payment amounts. my auto-pay of min balance for couple of months while balance is hovering around $3000 seems like the turn-off for AmEx.
different cards, different turn-ONs
we just have to play by their rules and be smart to get the CLIs.. i learned a lot on these forums to beat them at their game.. good luck staifokuzed...
